Police say a Brooklyn man was arrested for pushing his girlfriend onto train tracks over the weekend.

Police say a Brooklyn man was arrested for pushing his girlfriend onto train tracks over the weekend.

According to the NYPD, officers responded to Fulton Street station Saturday in Manhattan where they found a 29-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive.

Christian Valdez, 35, is accused of pushing the woman onto the tracks where she was struck by a southbound 3 train. He is being charged with attempted murder and a felony assault.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition
