A Brooklyn man is arrested for allegedly hitting an elderly man with his car in Queens.

Police say Kenlyn Franklyn was trying to make a U-turn Wednesday when he accidentally pressed the gas, causing him to drive up on the sidewalk and hit the 88-year-old.

The victim was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries and passed away the next day.

Franklyn is charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian and exercise due care.
