Brooklyn man arrested for trespassing at Long Island mall

A man from Brooklyn has been arrested for trespassing at a mall on Long Island.

Nassau police say that officers responded to a trespassing call at Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City on Wednesday. Michael Dubrow, 54, had previously trespassed at the mall and is not allowed on the property.

Officers tried to arrest Dubrow in the parking lot, but he resisted and bit one of the officers on the shoulder. Dubrow was arrested and faces charges of assault, burglary, criminal trespass, resisting arrest and an open Nassau County warrant.

The officer he bit was taken to the hospital for treatment.
