A Brooklyn man who really wanted a bacon, egg and cheese on a toasted raisin bagel last month has been charged with menacing and assaulting a deli clerk.
Police arrested Edilberto Burgos, 24, who they say was involved in an altercation on Nov. 25 with a 28-year-old deli clerk inside 1055 Flushing Ave.
Authorities say the dispute escalated, and Burgos eventually threw items at the employee, hitting him in the head and torso and causing him bruising and swelling.
A cellphone video of the altercation was posted and went viral.
Burgos was charged with petit larceny in 2015. In 2012, he was charged with having a loaded weapon.
