Police have identified the victim in a Monday evening crash in Queens as a man from Brooklyn.

Investigators say that 57-year-old Patrick Turenne was driving a black Mazda on the Belt Parkway west of 130th Street when he lost control and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad is continuing to investigate.
