A Brooklyn man was found dead by police in the waters off of Belle Harbor in Queens Sunday.
Police responded to the waters in the vicinity of 13431 Beach Channel Drive around 10 a.m.
NYPD Harbor personnel removed 71-year-old Mark Silverman, of Sheepshead Bay from the waters.
Silverman was unconscious and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
