Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Jr. says a Brooklyn man was indicted in connection to an anti-Muslim attack in Midtown, Manhattan.
Officials say David Grinblat, 34, approached the 25-year-old Muslim man near West 53rd Street and 5th Avenue on Aug. 5. Walking by the victim, Grinblat allegedly spat on him and made anti-Muslim remarks before punching the victim in the face several times.
Grinblat was arrested and charged with assault, aggravated harassment and hate crime three days later.
