A 25-year-old Brooklyn man died after his motorcycle crashed on the Franklin D. Roosevelt East River Drive in Lower Manhattan early Saturday morning, according to the NYPD.
Investigators from the NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad determined that Hasan Ibrahim was operating a Honda CBR500R motorcycle southbound when he failed to navigate the roadway and struck a concrete barrier at 2:20 a.m. near the Brooklyn Bridge exit.
Emergency medical personnel transported Ibrahim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
