Brooklyn man killed in Sunset Park hit-and-run; driver arrested

Police say a driver is accused of killing a Brooklyn man in a hit-and-run in Sunset Park.

Eric Rodriguez, 25, is accused of striking Douglas Bradley, 64, with his car just before 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 21 near 44th Street and Fifth Avenue. Officials say Rodriguez did not remain on the scene.

Authorities say EMS rushed Bradley to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he died on Jan. 2.

Officers took Rodriguez into custody Thursday. He is charged with two counts of leaving the scene of an incident without reporting.
