Police say a fatal shooting on Church Avenue in Flatbush was retribution for a Halloween egg-throwing incident.
According to police, 20-year-old Anthony Davis was shot in the back while standing on the corner Wednesday night. Police say a woman standing next to Davis was also shot once in the shoulder. Investigators believe the shooting was revenge for an incident on Halloween between kids on rival blocks.
Davis? friends say the group came up to him Wednesday and acted as if everything was fine between them. His friends say when Davis turned to walk away, people from the group started shooting, hitting Davis in the back. Davis died from his injuries at Kings County Hospital. No arrests have been made in the shooting.
