Police are searching for a gunman who fatally shot a man in Bedford-Stuyvesant Friday.

Investigators say 52-year-old Tyrone Davis was shot multiple times in the chest at around 1:30 p.m. at Marcy Avenue and Martin Luther King Place. The victim was rushed to Woodhull Hospital, where he later died.

Police say the incident took place in the vicinity of two schools while classes were still in session.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
