The case of a Brooklyn man found dead inside his home in 2014 is now being re-classified as a homicide, police say.
Police say they discovered the badly decomposing remains of 69-year-old Anthony Defonte last year.
But, a medical examiner says Defone may have actually suffered a gunshot wound in an incident stemming back from 1979.
