The Brooklyn Mirage is postponing its much-anticipated reopening for the second time.
The venue was set to debut Memorial Day weekend, but announced on Instagram that "unexpected challenges" forced it to delay the reopening further.
The update came just days before the doors were supposed to open.
Vendors say the lack of foot traffic from concertgoers is costing them time, money and food.
“They said they were going to open last week, and again this week, but they didn’t,” said Yosef Zharib, a food truck vendor. “It’s a big loss because we have a lot of food, so that’s why we’re moving.”
Zharib and others say they’ve received little communication from Mirage staff, leaving them in limbo and scrambling for other business opportunities.
