Survivors, victims? relatives and the city are preparing to mark the fifth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. An exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum is highlighting the history of the World Trade Center site.
The exhibit, "Looking Back from Ground Zero," features photos, paintings and materials from the World Trade Center site. The items are separated into three galleries. They include the history of the site and downtown Manhattan dating back to the 1800s, what life was like when the towers stood and the cultural impact of the deadly attacks.
The Brooklyn Museum is located at 200 Eastern Parkway. The exhibit runs through January 7, 2007.
