Brooklyn music lovers hit the streets Friday, honoring the life of music legend Prince.

Many were seen wearing purple, the color he's most famously associated with thanks in part to his hit album "Purple Rain."

Fans commended Prince for his multiple talents as a musician, while others saw him as an inspiration by being so unique.

Meanwhile, a Minnesota sheriff spoke out about Prince's the possible cause of death Friday.

Police say there were no signs of trauma on Prince's body, adding that there is no reason to believe the death was a suicide.

The sheriff says medical examiners are performing an autopsy, the results of which won't be released for a week or two.

Prince died Thursday morning at his estate in Minnesota.
