Canarsie resident, Broadway entertainer and TV star Moise Morancy is speaking out about his upbringing in public housing and his concerns of racial issues through the Black Lives Matter movement in the Brooklyn community.
The 20-year-old has appeared on Broadway and episodes of "Law and Order: SVU" and his online videos and photos have been seen by thousands.
He says he hopes his voice can be a motivation to inspire minority youth.
Morancy is currently working on a collection of music called "Chronicles of a Ghetto Rose" while he auditions for acting roles.
