Advocates for the elderly and disabled say their latest report shows that a Brooklyn nursing has not been providing adequate care. The report, issued by the Long Term Care Community Coalition, finds the Lemberg Home in Bensonhurst has been fined more than $100,000 for violations. The report shows the home failed to protect residents from abuse and did not properly investigate acts of abuse. The group also says residents in the home were not thoroughly watched to prevent accidents. The home was also cited for numerous administrative failures including not running the facility efficiently. Officials from the Lemberg Home had no comment on the findings.
