The ongoing battle in Gaza is being felt in Brooklyn. 
Members of Brooklyn Peace joined other local activists for a vigil in Fort Greene Sunday. 
Supporters asked people to sign a petition urging President Obama and Congress to condemn the war and immediately negotiate a cease-fire. 
Officials say that two Israeli civilians and more than 40 troops have been killed since fighting began nearly three weeks ago. More than 1,000 Palestinians, most of them civilians, have also died.
