A group for Brooklyn-based do-gooders is spreading peace in Brownsville.
The Brooklyn Peacekeepers declare they are "Present for Peace" and say they hope to influence people in neighborhoods that suffer from violence.
The group's latest location is at Rockaway and Dumont avenues. Members wear bright orange T-shirts and are a visible presence on various streets every Saturday.
Members say they believe their work is having a positive effect on the communities they visit.
