Brooklyn puppeteer brings creations to Winter Olympics
Friday night's 2018 Winter Olympic opening ceremonies had a little touch of Brooklyn in it.
The tiger puppets that were seen during the ceremony were made by a resident of the borough.
Brooklyn-based designer Nicholas Mahon was one of the many creators who brought the puppets to live, according to artnet.com
Mahon says he has been working on the designs for about a year by translating paper mock-ups into larger-than-life sculptures.
