Residents across Brooklyn rushed to the supermarket to stock up on essentials for this weekend's snow.

Golden Mango in Canarsie was packed with customers frantic to grab key items such as milk, bread and eggs. Residents say they try to stock up on items that don't need to be cooked in case the power goes out.

Aside from the essentials, residents were also out buying comfort food like chips.
