Smith Street in downtown Brooklyn was red, white and bleu for Bastille Day.
Monday is the French Independence Day, but residents in Brooklyn celebrated Sunday with a street fair.
Aside from French food and wine, parts of Smith Street were covered in sand for a huge petanque tournament, which is similar to bocce ball.
The organizer of the day's events says Bastille Day is a good opportunity to bring the community together in the area known as "Little France."
It was the 13th annual celebration on Smith Street.
