Brooklyn is joining with people around the globe in celebrating the start of the Lunar New Year.
The Chinese-American Planning Council of Brooklyn is hosting its annual Lunar New Year celebration today.
The festivities at PS 310K start at 11:30 a.m. and will run until 2:30 p.m.
The event will showcase cultural performances and Lunar New Year themed activities and prizes.
