Some Brooklyn residents went outdoors Sunday to enjoy the snow-covered parks.
Families were in Coney Island building snowmen. They told News 12 they were excited for the first significant snowfall of the season.
Temperatures are expected to be in the 30s Sunday with a high of 35 degrees.
Anyone heading outdoors is advised to wear layers, hats and gloves.
