Beaches in Brooklyn are now open and people are enjoying the warm weather and sunshine this holiday weekend.
Although the water temperature is still in the 50s, beachgoers were still sticking their feet in.
Some visitors opted to spend their time on the boardwalk seeking thrills at Luna Park and others enjoyed live performances during auditions for Coney Island's Showstopper Sunday Series.
The Coney Island boardwalk was also packed with people for the start of Memorial Day weekend and a sale at Nathan's Famous.
In honor of Nathan's 100th anniversary, hot dogs were being sold for only 5 cents on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
