Some Brooklyn residents are reporting that the trash in their neighborhood hasn't been picked up during the snowy weather.
One resident in Clinton Hill sent News 12 video of the trash pileup in their neighborhood.
The commissioner of the Department of Sanitation spoke about the issue.
"We have trash collection going on all shifts, all day and it has been... that way since Tuesday," said commissioner Jessica Tisch. "New Yorkers should expect that trash collection should be delayed but it is definitely on, put the material out and we will be there to come collect it."
Tisch added that New Yorkers should expect all of their trash to be picked up by Saturday.
