Students at Edward R. Murrow High School reflected on the importance of World AIDS Day Thursday.
The students attended the annual AIDS quilt presentation. The quilt is hung in the gym and will remain on display until Dec. 4. Students also discussed the disease in an effort to educate their peers.
Teachers say the goal is to inform students about the choices they make and how to reduce their risk of contracting the disease.
Guest speakers also attended the event.
