Brooklyn woman builds worldwide following with head wrap company
A Brooklyn woman is making an entrepreneurial career out of her handcrafted accessories made to boost any woman's style and confidence.
Nnenna Stella has been making head wraps out of her Brooklyn kitchen for three years, and has turned her passion into a company called "The Wrap Life."
Stella started the company in the hope of making accessories that allow women to express their style or cultural roots.
"I imagined women walking down the street in these beautiful fabrics feeling really good and gorgeous and it's really cool now because I am often walking around Brooklyn and I see other women wearing my head wraps," says Stella.
The company began as a simple online store, and now ships all over the United States and other countries like South Korea, China, Sweden and Australia.
Stella also makes the products in a way where customers can wear them however they like.
