A Brownsville mother was sentenced today for killing her 4-year-old son.
Zarah Coombs admitted to beating her son Zamair Coombs to death with a broomstick last year after losing her temper in her Riverdale Avenue basement apartment.
She was sentenced to 17 years in prison, according to Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez.
Coombs has three other children and worked at a day care facility in the past.
