23h agoThis week is Black Maternal Health Week, and parents in Brownsville took part in different workshops on Bristol Street.
Mothers, fathers, and family members learned about midwives, doulas, understanding hospital rights and other important information about motherhood.
"A lot of the moms look like me look like my sister look like my mom my aunt, so I make a special effort to reach out and make sure they get the services that they need," said family wellness psych coordinator Shantel Taylor.
