After months of garbage piling up outside her window, a Brownsville woman is relieved that cleanup efforts are finally underway.
As News 12 reported earlier this week, Samantha Galloway complained that the scaffolding outside her second-floor window on Sackmen Street had been accumulating her neighbors' trash for weeks on end.
Galloway says she made countless calls to NYCHA, but that it wasn't until News 12 showed up that something was done about it.
It's not clear when the scaffolding will be coming down.
