A building partially collapsed in Gravesend Saturday morning.
It happened shortly after 9 a.m. at 2333 Stillwell Ave.
Department of Buildings inspectors say the two-story building suffered a partial collapse in the rear of the building because of deterioration of the structural wood frame.
Nearby residents say the building has been an eyesore for quite some time, but they're thankful no one was hurt.
A resident also told News 12 that homeless people often seek shelter in that building, but were not inside at the time of the collapse.
