A migrant shelter closed over the weekend in Bushwick - but not everyone living there has left.
News 12 went to the now shuttered emergency shelter located at 359 Stockton St. and found many migrant men gathering across the street near a community garden.
City officials said the shelter housed about 270 people before it was shut down last weekend, and that migrants were referred to Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan to be reassigned to a new shelter.
Some migrants said they have nowhere to go, with many phased out of the city's shelter system with the new 30- day limit for adults.
City officials say the closure is partially due to the decreasing number of asylum seekers coming to New York.
Just last week, 900 new migrants entered the city's care.
There are currently 212 emergency shelters for migrants operating in New York City, and city officials say since the start of the migrant crisis, it has been common to open and close shelter locations.
