Multiple people were caught on camera train surfing at the Chauncey Street Train Station.

“My video doesn’t even do it justice, there were like 15 kids on that train," said Deja Alceus, who captured the video.

She says it was just after 6 p.m. on Sunday when she decided to take a video of her surroundings.

“I was just doing my daily meditation and having time to myself," said Alceus.

It was in the middle of her recording that she realized multiple people were riding on top of the train.

“I know that on the J train it's very common because it’s outside," said Alceus.

According to police at least three people have died this year in the city from subway surfing.

“Just even going in between the trains is scary but being on top of the train is crazier," said A.J., a Bushwick resident.

If you see people riding on top of the train you're urged to contact the police right away.
