The school bus route confusion that infuriated families across the Bronx and the city last week is being blamed on a hired firm, which reportedly has a sloppy reputation.According to published reports, the consulting firm that suggested cutting school bus routes, Alvarez and Marcel, has left many other cities with problems. The St. Louis school system reportedly warned city officials about the firm after they were forced to file for bankruptcy as a result of the firm?s suggestions.Alvarez and Marcel's services are reportedly costing the city millions of dollars. However, the firm reportedly says it has helped the city save $108 million this year.
