The Bronx Dominican community is gearing up for the Dominican Day Parade being held this Sunday.
The borough will celebrate Dominican Heritage with the 23rd annual parade. The celebration will go down Grand Concourse, starting at 180th Street and ending at 166th Street.
The parade will feature more than 40 floats, many representing the different provinces in the Dominican Republic. A variety of dance groups will be performing traditional Dominican dances.
In addition to the parade, a festival featuring Dominican food, music and dance will be taking place at Clay and Webster avenues.
