A non-profit organization that has helped Bronx residents in need for more than a decade is in danger of closing its doors.
The Andrea P. Foundation has helped nearly 7,000 Bronx residents since 2001 with an array of free services like culinary classes, summer youth camps and citizenship assistance.
However, the organization currently owes $11,000 in back rent, and because they were denied grant money, they face eviction.
The landlords are willing to work with the organization, but if they don't pay $5,000 in two weeks, the Andrea P Foundation will have to close its doors.
