A Bronx woman says paramedics took close to a half-hour to arrive after she nearly collapsed in a pharmacy yesterday. According to surveillance video, Sandra Morel walked into Tu Farmacia at 553 Southern Blvd. asking employees for help as she doubled over in pain. Pharmacist Syed Momin says four 911 calls were made, and that an ambulance arrived 45 minutes later. EMS volunteers say they received a call, but deemed the issue a low priority since Morel was not alone. She was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where she says she checked herself out and filed a complaint because the wait time was too long to see a doctor.
