Cambodians in Brooklyn are celebrating their version of Halloween by honoring their families.
Dozens of Buddhists in Brooklyn are paying respects to their ancestors at the Watt Samakki Buddhist Temple.
The celebration lasts for 15 days and ends Oct. 12.
The community is praying that their ancestors' spirits are with them. They are also enjoying Cambodian food and spending time with relatives.
During that time, monks will be at the temple every day to pray with people in the morning and night.
