The Diocese of Brooklyn has released a new ad campaign aimed at encouraging young people to attend church.
The Christmas campaign, which has been launched in Brooklyn and Queens, can be seen in bus shelters and subway entrances. One of the ads features a picture of a church with a velvet rope outside and the slogan, "Everyone's on the list."
Monsignor Kieran Harrington, from the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Prospect Heights, says the purpose of the campaign is to make all Catholics feel comfortable and welcome at their local church.
