A Canarsie resident is looking to create a community hub with his cafe “Xperience.”

Right on Rockaway Parkway, you'll spot a bright orange awning. When you walk in, you'll see a painting of Pop Smoke on the throne.

Owner Christopher Lawrence started the spot as a place for community members and organizations to meet and commune. His business caught the eye of Canarsie resident Audrey Jackson -- who is also Pop Smoke's mom.

"Instead of me doing my thing over there and he does his thing over there, we come together," said Jackson.

Jackson linked with Lawrence to employ youth from her Shoot From the Stars Foundation.
