Police say a car crashed into the Chabad-Lubavitch Headquarters in Crown Heights Wednesday. The driver was taken into custody.

Officers responded to a 911 call at 770 Eastern Parkway just after 8:45 p.m.

A gray Honda Accord with a New Jersey license plate was caught on video repeatedly reversing and ramming into the building.

Authorities say the Honda crashed into the entrance doors at the bottom of a sloped driveway.

The crash happened on one of the busiest nights and most important days of the Chabad calendar; the 75th anniversary of the Rebbe’s leadership. He launched his vision to restore Jewish life after the Holocaust from the Eastern Parkway building.

Police believe no one was injured as of Wednesday evening.
