A carjacking incident in Woodlawn was caught on dash cam video with the victim hoping to get his vehicle back.
Chris Polgano says he was about to head to work Thursday when he discovered glass covering the parking space where he left his car. Polgano says his father parked behind him on the night his 2019 Hyundai Sonata was stolen.
The father's dash cam records 24/7 and shows that just after 11 p.m. Wednesday two suspects can be seen on video walking up to the car. It shows one of the suspects breaking the passenger window and within 15 minutes the second suspect returns, jumps into the car and they take off.
Polgano says the suspect left a paper trail using his credit card that was inside the car.
The suspects are then seen on surveillance video inside a south Bronx deli.
Polgano says while he wants his car back, he is more upset about the personal items that were inside.
