The West Indian-American Day Carnival parade promises to bring food and fun to Eastern Parkway Monday ? and lots of traffic.
Officials estimate 3 million people will turn out for the parade, which could be troublesome for drivers and people taking mass transit.
Police warn drivers to expect delays and closures in the area bound by Eastern Parkway and Atlantic Avenue between Grand Army Plaza to Flatbush Avenue to Rochester Avenue.
The MTA says trains will run on a Sunday schedule, with the 4 line making local stops. All trains will skip the Eastern Parkway stop. Officials recommend avoiding the Nostrand Avenue and Franklin Avenue stations on the 2 and 5 lines.
