A Williamsburg native says an MTA bus driver spit in her face following an argument.
Sapphire Philip says she was aboard the B25 bus in downtown Brooklyn this weekend with her two daughters, a 9-year-old and a 2-year-old, when she got into a dispute with the driver.
Philip says the bus driver asked her to fold and put away her stroller, but she wasn’t sure how to fold it. She says the driver then didn’t give her any time to figure it out before stopping the bus and telling all of the passengers to leave.
After an argument, Philips says she got off the bus along with the other passengers. However, video captures the driver suddenly opening the doors to the bus, running to Philips, and then spitting in her face.

A spokesperson from the MTA said in a statement, "The bus operator depicted in this disturbing video is being held out of service while we conduct an investigation, and we encourage anyone with information to contact us."

Philip tells News 12 the incident left her disturbed and she plans on getting counseling. She says she is also looking for a lawyer and is planning to sue.
