Caught on video: Burglars ransack Throgs Neck juice bar

The owners of a new Throgs Neck juice bar said surveillance cameras caught burglars breaking into the business early Tuesday morning, taking thousands of dollars with them.
"The way they did the burglary was not even... just they didn't care," said Oscar Manuel Navarro, owner of Guerrero's Juice Bar. "The first thing on my mind was, 'My business! Oh my God! My business!' You know?"
Surveillance video shows two men at the backdoor of the East Tremont Avenue business at 1 a.m.
After initially failing to break in, the pair eventually leave with their equipment. However, one of them comes back with what appears to be a different accomplice over four hours later. Then, the ransacking begins. They even scraped up change from the register.
"They barged in here, destroyed everything," Navarro said, turning his pursuit of the American Dream into more of a nightmare.
"For somebody to just come and take away everything you work hard for, it's a shame and it hurts," Navarro added.
It looked like the thieves might come up empty handed as they ransacked the establishment, but then they finally stumbled upon $2,000 of the payroll. They took money that was supposed to go to the business' hardworking employees.
Navarro and his wife built the juice bar from the ground up.
"My wife is the one that pushed me," he said.
The juice bar has only been open for a month.
The couple has another one in Yonkers along with a restaurant but wanted to expand.
"She said, 'Listen, we have to work for our future. What if we have kids one day?'" Navarro explained.
The 28-year-old son of Mexican immigrants is fighting to provide for his future family.
"The name says Guerrero's. Guerrero's in Spanish means "fighter." We get back up and continue fighting," Navarro said.
