Caught on video: Suspect repeatedly punches Asian man on Brooklyn train, puts him in chokehold

A man was caught on video attacking and repeatedly punching an Asian man on a Brooklyn train.
A video shows the attacker exchanging punches with the man at the end of the train car.
The attacker is seen throwing more than two dozen punches, as the man tries to cover himself.
By the end of the video, the attacker is seen putting the man in a chokehold until he drops to the ground unconscious.
The incident happened on a J train that pulled into the Kosciuszko Street station.
The NYPD says they are trying to find the attacker and figure out what exactly happened.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force has shared the video on social media in hopes to get information that could lead to an arrest.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority released a statement saying,” The video of the young Asian American man being beaten on a train in our system is absolutely horrifying and gut-wrenching. We have offered our assistance to the NYPD and we will do anything we can to assist them with their investigation. Racist, criminal behavior targeting Asian Americans is horrifying, and it must stop.”
