Cedar Grove neighbors, businesses partner up to stay powered up

Not having power means no way to charge your devices, so neighbors and businesses joined forces to help each other stay plugged in following the storm.
Marisa Sweeney is doing her part to help her neighbors. Sweeney has run an extension cord from her home into the parking lot behind her building. She has a power strip set up for anyone who needs to charge a device.
"I just feel that we've been very lucky," says Sweeney. "We've been the people to lose power in a storm before, and this time around we didn't, so why not help people out whenever we can?"
At Cedar Bean's Coffee Joint in Cedar Grove, owner Dave Fletcher put the word out to come on down and charge devices. Fletcher says it was the kind thing to do.
Steven and Takia Washington, of Bloomfield, both work from home and spent their morning powering up at the cafe. The couple says they can't thank Fletcher enough.
Both Sweeney and Cedar Bean's Coffee Joint say they spread the word about their impromptu charging stations through social media.
