Chappaqua author's upcoming book details Jackie Kennedy's passion for reading

Author Ronni Diamondstein told News 12 that the former first lady was a lifelong avid reader.

A Chappaqua author will debut her first picture book biography that shares untold stories about one of the most famous women in American history.

The book is called "Jackie and The Books She Loved," and it's all about former first lady Jackie Kennedy's passion for literature.

Author Ronni Diamondstein told News 12 while Kennedy is often remembered as an American icon of style and grace, she was also a lifelong avid reader.

Diamondstein is also a school library media specialist and a past president of the Chappaqua Library Board of Trustees.

Her book will officially be released on Election Day.
