The district attorney's office says charges have been dropped against the mother of an 11-month-old boy who died in a bathtub over the weekend.
According to police, Angelica Huertas had been bathing her son, Elijah Pardella, and his 3-year-old sister inside their Pennsylvania Avenue apartment on Sunday.
When police got a 911 call and arrived on the scene, they say the baby was unconscious in the tub.
Officials have ruled the boy's death an accident.
